The Curium Experience's game "Extraction", has the highest possible rating of "overwhelming positive" on Morty, an app especially designed for escape room enthusiasts to log, research and review escape rooms. In 2023 and 2024 Extraction received a "Best of Morty" award, an award that recognises the top 300 Escape Rooms in the world from more than 50,000 listed on the app.

Each year, the Top Escape Room Project -Enthusiast Choice Awards (TERPECA) seeks to find and recognise the best escape rooms in the world using the knowledge of the most experienced escape room players in the world (to nominate a room you must have played more than 200 escape rooms). Over the years "Extraction" has been recognised as amongst the best escape rooms in the world since it's launch in 2022. In 2023 The Curium Experience received the "TOP ROOM" award, placing it in the top 100 escape rooms globally. As of December 2025, The Curium Experience is the highest ranking Escape Room in Melbourne, and the only Melbourne Escape Room to make the finals​
